Find your first role in digital with these opportunities.
Recruitment of young talent is changing. Grad schemes have moved on and the industry needs a more inclusive and hand-on approach. BIMA membership gives you access to a variety of ways to attract new talent, both to the industry and your team.
It could be inspiring secondary school students to think about a career in digital, providing work experience placements for hidden young talent or judging our BIMA Next Gen programme.
The only initiative of its kind, BIMA Digital Day is a free event that gives 11-16 year-olds an insight into a world of digital careers. It’s part of BIMA’s ongoing commitment to tackling the UK’s digital skills gap by sparking interest in tech and creative careers from an early age.
Graduates are finding it harder than ever to break into the industry. BIMA NextGen gives them a way in. Students work on a live brief, supported by industry mentors. They leave with connections, real experience, and a portfolio piece that could make all the difference.
It’s work experience but not as you know it. We work in different geographical pockets to provide placements for young talent from education (6th form and University) and by working closely with the Dept of Work and Education we target job centres in geographical areas as well.
